Portfolio Four

 In my fourth portfolio, I have learned a lot new information about different song genres. I did a lot researches about song genre. I did a presentation about New Wave song genre. All this information I had learned by discussing with students in class and by listing the presentations. I had and AHA moment when I was doing my song analyses. I was reading the lyric and I didn’t understand what they mean. So I turned on the video clips of that song and I had that moment when I understood what song is about. I would create a bumper sticker I would name it “Just Do It”. This mean when you doing something and you can’t finish it just do it again until you finish it. I didn’t know that New Wave genre is sub genre of punk rock. I will use that information to explain people about that genre if will start talking about song genres.

In my third portfolio, we were studying about movies. I have learned a lot new information about movies. I have learned concept about genre of the movie. We were doing the small presentation about different genre that how we learned it. I had an AHA moment we were studying about genre. First when we started genre I didn’t understand what does it mean, but when we started learning I had a moment that I understood it. If I would create a bumper sticker would name it “work hard to be successful”.  Its mean work to reach you goal, But if you are student study hard to reach your goal. I didn’t know that I can watch movie trailer on film studios websites.  I will use that information to watch movie trailer and see when the movies is coming up.

What does film mean to me?

what does films mean to me?  Sometimes films mean to me real life. When i am watching Drama movies when somebody is dies or some one is sick. i am starting crying. Because  i am thinking that's happens in real life. When i have a bad mood i like to watch comedy movies because they making me laugh and i feel better. When i was young use to watch action movies about Super Man, i was thinking some that i will get that power and be like him. when i was younger i was thinking Super Man are real because i saw him in the movie. And the last think i like to watch Horror movies. I am scared to watch them by my self i always watch them with friend because horror movie making me scared. When i saw 30 days later movies  when i was 14 years old  and night i was scared to go outside because was think that's can happen in real life.

Reflection Two

In my second portfolio, I have learned a lot new information. I have learned about popular stars. I was doing a research about famous rapper. Then I was discussing it was my friends who listing the rap music. And in the end of it I did a presentation about popular star. When I was reading an Introduction to Students I had an Aha moment.  Which was when I read paragraph about Shakespeare?  This paragraph was about his famous stories that he wrote and remade stories that he made. First of all I didn’t understand author was talking about but then I when I saw story by Shakespeare called Romeo and Juliette. And I got them moment because I have read this story and then I saw the movie that they remade it. If I would create a bumper sticker I would name it “Keep Trying”. It’s mean like keep trying to reach your goals and don’t be scared to lose and trying again. I didn’t know that Prezi website is making so good PowerPoint presentations. I will use that skill to create presentations for my other classes and for this class we will have presentations.

This poster talks about my identity, on the first and second  picture you can see Derrick Rosa and Vitali Klitschko. So i like boxing and playing basketball, you can see the blue and yellow color flag its my native country flag. then you can see picture of me, and there you can see the pizza its my favorite food. Then you will see the small radio and there are two song that i like the most. The name of first is Not Afraid by Eminem and the other one is called No Love By Eminem and Lil Wayne.

Reflection 1

The semester just started few weeks ago. And have learned a lot new information about culture. We had read the culture identity   text, then i have researched my culture identity. i have discussed my identity with my family and i asked my friend. I had complete a project about my culture identity.I have learned a lot things by doing and ready. When i was reading the Power and Illusion. I had a moment when i didn't understand anything thing but then i got the Aha moment that i understood everything. If i would i have a chance to create a bomber sticker i would name it "Who i am'. Because i would like to tell other people who i am. Like my culture what i like to do. I didn't know that i can use Glogster to create such a nice project. I will use that skill in future for my other class to make a nice projects.
